Who is Roam Management?
Roam is a locally owned property management company based in Beverly Hills, Florida, run by Shields Gay and Darin Haag. How we work
We are not a regional firm with a Citrus County satellite office. The office is here, the contractors are here, and the person who shows your property is the same person who will answer when a tenant calls about a water heater.
That size is deliberate. At over 50 doors we can still know every property individually, which is what makes it possible to price a rental against the street rather than a spreadsheet, and to catch a maintenance problem while it is still cheap.
We will also tell an owner when management is not the right answer. If a property earns more on an annual lease than nightly, or if the numbers say sell rather than hold, we say so before you sign anything.

Shields Gay
Owner
Shields grew up in Citrus County and still fishes the Nature Coast when the tide and the schedule agree. He knows which streets flood, which neighborhoods carry deed restrictions, and what a house on Lake Tsala Apopka should actually rent for. Owners get his read on the property before they get a proposal.
Darin Haag
Owner
Darin handles the operational side of the portfolio, from vetting applicants to keeping contractors scheduled and accountable. The maintenance relationships that let us turn a unit fast and fix a problem the same week are the ones he has spent years building here.
Where we work
Citrus County is the core of the portfolio, including Inverness, Crystal River, Homosassa, Lecanto, Hernando, Beverly Hills and Citrus Springs. We also manage property in Marion, Levy, Sumter and Hernando counties, including Dunnellon on the Rainbow River.
